In my opinion safe sex is more indirect because the act of
sex is never actually told to the reader but implied in a very convoluted way. Furthermore
the deeper meaning of safe sex is that while on the surface the poem does not criticize
but instead praises one night stands in reality the author is actually arguing
against one night stands by saying that there is no emotional connection there
is nothing more then the physical and that is not actually a good thing because
there needs to be affectionate words and emotions to go along with love.
